Project Overview
As electric vehicle adoption continued to grow, Newfoundland Power launched a new initiative to expand the province’s charging infrastructure. Talon Energy was engaged to help deliver this initiative by installing a network of EV charging stations at key locations across Newfoundland.
The project supported the utility’s efforts to build a more sustainable, accessible transportation network — an important step toward reducing the region’s carbon footprint.
Our Role
Talon managed the full lifecycle of installation, from pre-site assessments to final commissioning:
- Civil and electrical site preparation
- Installation of Level 2 and DC fast charging units
- Integration with power infrastructure
- Safety testing, commissioning, and client handover
- Coordination with local municipalities and subcontractors
Talon’s agile project management ensured installations were completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with all provincial standards.
